Ashton Court

WONDERFUL HOTEL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Stayed here for 3 nights for a competition. We had a twin room with sea view and it was wonderful. Perfect for what we needed. Dog friendly and they were so accomodating. The hotel is literally on the sea front. Ample parking outside hotel and on the street right by front door. Full english and continental was lovely. Staff friendly. Room was spacious, clean. Hot powerful shower. Couldn't be any better and we will definitely be back.

We booked one night here very last minute, and rang to reserve as we were bringing two dogs. The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful, choosing us a room that had space for our dogs and advising that could sit with them in the bar for our breakfast. Tho hotel was ideal for us, with a nice shady garden out the back where we could have a drink, and an enclosed lawn at the front (over the quiet road) with great views. The room was clean but a bit small and could do with an updated shower but overall it was what we needed. There was a fan for the hot weather and the window opened up wide (unlike many more modern hotels). Breakfast was nice and arrived quickly (the dogs got their own sausages). Actually it was nice to be in the bar to eat as the restaurant is downstairs so we had the view! All of the staff we met, without fail, were happy, friendly and helpful and we and our dogs were made very welcome.

Lovely hotel but some of the bedrooms are still been updated. The bar and the dining room are lovely and the breakfast very good. The staff are great, very helpful and obliging, really made our stay excellent. We will definitely stop again.

I really enjoyed staying in the Ashton Court Hotel. The location was fantastic - only a 2 minute walk to the sea front with access to a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. The town centre is about a 10 minutes walk away. I stayed in a single room which was very spacious with a big bed and tidy ensuite bathroom with nice power shower. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and it was a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere. The bar area was really clean and tidy and a nice area to sit and meet new people or just relax with the sea view. The dining room was really nice and breakfast itself was great with the ability to choose what cooked breakfast you wanted cooked fresh to order. Only a small suggestion would be to add hash browns and some fresh fruit such as bananas and apples but I enjoyed my bacon and egg sandwich! There was a lovely outside area out the back and also tables at the front of the hotel and a small, private grassy area opposite the road only for hotel guests. The only thing I would be wary of is the parking. We got extremely lucky in getting the last space right outside the hotel. The on street parking was quite busy so if we hadn't got that space we may have struggled. However, there is a long stay car park nearby which id researched in case of this issue. Would definitely recommend staying here and would consider again if I'm in the area!

A really nice bed and breakfast close to the seafront and relatively close to the town centre. Less than five minutes to the beach. The rooms are lovely; some are slightly dated, but that adds to the charm. For a single room it was really spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Mine was a room with a seaview and it was stunning views right across the Riviera. The breakfast is good. It is a simple full English with cereal and toast. Breakfast does get quite busy The staff are friendly and helpful. It was a really affordable price for a bank holiday weekend considering to that I booked late. In short, I enjoyed it. Will come again

Very close to beach and the panoramic views are amazing. Watching boats, Ferries and boat trips up and down the estuary. Very close to the shops so well situated and easily accessed. Food can be purchased from hotel and there are eateries minutes away for every taste. Really good stay, there is a lift, but there are also 6 steps to negotiate at entrance , but really nice rooms to stay in. The stay was great and relaxing.

Lovely last minute booking, hotel staff went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was very much welcomed. Not always easy to find a parking space on the hotel driveway but easy enough to find a space on the road - just a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and sea views from the bedroom were beautiful. The beach is a stones throw walk away. We look forward to returning. Thank you
